اثربخشی آب‌درمانی بر مهارت‌های ارتباطی کودکان مبتلا به اختلال طیف اوتیسم (مطالعه تک بررسی)

زمینه و هدف: اختلال طیف اوتیسم، مهارت‌های ارتباطی و پاسخ مناسب فرد به محیط بیرون را تحت‌تأثیر قرار می‌دهد. یکی از جدیدترین روش‌ها برای بهبود مهارت‌های ارتباطی کودکان مبتلا به اختلال طیف اوتیسم، آب‌درمانی است. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر آب‌درمانی بر مهارت‌های ارتباطی کودکان دارای اختلال طیف اوتیسم انجام شد.
روش: پژوهش حاضر از نوع مورد منفرد با طرح A-B است. جامعه آماری شامل تمامی کودکان با اختلال طیف اوتیسم استان البرز در سال 1396 است. از آن‌جا که پژوهش حاضر، به دنبال موارد خاص و یا غیرمعمول بود، از روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند استفاده شد. بر این اساس از مرکز نگهداری شبانه‌روزی کودکان آسایشگاه خیریه کهریزک استان البرز، 3 کودک که به تشخیص روانپزشک اطفال و روان­شناس کودک، علائم و نشانه‌های اختلال اوتیسم را داشتند، به عنوان نمونه مورد مطالعه انتخاب شدند. ابزار پژوهش، ویرایش دوم مقیاس درجه ­بندی اوتیسم گیلیام (گارز-2) و چک‌لیست محقق‌ساخته سنجش مهارت‌های ارتباطی بود. جلسات درمانی طبق برنامه هالی­ویک، به ‌صورت 2 جلسه (یک ساعته) در هفته و به مدت 2 ماه طی 8 هفته (16 جلسه) انجام شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها، پس از رسم نمودار و محفظه ثبات و روند برای نمودارها، با کاربرد روش تحلیل درون­موقعیتی و بین­موقعیتی، اثربخشی متغیر مستقل بر متغیر وابسته بررسی شد.
یافته‌ها: طی تحلیل دیداری نمودار داده‌ها، مداخله در هر سه آزمودنی اثربخش بوده است. درصد داده‌های غیرهمپوشی در دو موقعیت خط پایه و مداخله برای سه شرکت‌کننده به ترتیب 100%، 80% و 90% بود.
نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج نشان داد که آب‌درمانی به طور قابل‌توجهی موجب افزایش مهارت‌های ارتباطی کودکان دارای اختلال طیف اوتیسم می‌شود که این اثربخشی می­تواند از طریق تقویت مهارت­های حسی حرکتی و همچنین ایجاد زمینه­ها و شرایط لازم برای برقراری ارتباط انجام شده باشد. بدین ترتیب پیشنهاد می‌شود که از این روش به‌ عنوان روی­آوردی مکمل در حوزه آموزش و توان‌بخشی کودکان مبتلا به اختلال طیف اوتیسم در کنار سایر درمان­های اصلی استفاده شود.
