Method: The research method is a semi-experimental design with pretest-posttest and control group. The statistical population consisted of all sixth grade male students in Dezful city, 48 of whom were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling and randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. From both groups, the form A of the Torrance creativity test (1988) was carried out in the pretest and post-test phases, and then the Method Based on Constructionism Approach in the experimental group and the traditional (teacher-centered) teaching method in the control group for all the courses. Data were analyzed using one-way covariance analysis. Results: The results showed that the use of method based on constructionism approach increased the creativity of the students in the experimental group compared with the traditional teaching group (teacher-centered) (p <0.001).
